This contains details of all the longer trips we have planned for the club this year. These trips include a stay away from home, normally for a long weekend. Transport to these is typically arranged by sharing private cars rather than using a minibus, as this gives more flexibility to come and go.
You must be a member of the club to come on one of these trips.

||Borrowdale YHA, Lake District||This is our 'traditional' winter walking trip to the Lakes.
While the paths are generally good, the time of year means that snow is
likely and it can
be extremely cold - correct equipment is needed for high winter walks!

||A return trip to the Snowdonia
National Park in North Wales. Lots of good hillwalking around
here - we will be staying in Capel Curig
||Beer, nr. Sidmouth, South Devon coast
||A short weekend coastal path walking in the South West.
||Lindsey Ashworth||Isle of Wight
||Coastal path walking just across
the Solent. A 2-day trip over to the west and south of the island.
||Ratagan, NW Scotland
||The annual trip north of the
border. If you want rugged walking this is your chance.
Conditions can be great or extremely miserable - we have had both in
